Barbers Hill ISD is a suburban district encompassing 192.3 square miles in western Chambers County, Texas, strategically located at the intersection of Interstate 10 and State Highway 146. Its borders consist of the Trinity River on the east to Harris County line on the west; from Trinity Bay on the south to Liberty County line on the North.  This large area contains four distinct communities (Mont Belvieu, Old River-Winfree, Cove, and Beach City) brought together by a common bond:  the school system.

Barbers Hill is experiencing a 9.5% annual growth rate and has approximately 3400 students.  Barbers Hill High School ( grades 9 - 12) has approximately 950 students and is joined by a middle school (grades 7 & 8), an intermediate school (grades 5 & 6), and two elementary campuses.  A new elementary campus is currently being built.

Barbers Hill's Operations department consists of 5 distinct groups, and provides the backbone of support for the educational facilities of the district.  From air conditioning to the transportation fleet, Operations makes the business of educating students possible.  Please click on the links above to view more information about each aspect of Operations.
