Barbara Ponder, Assistant Superintendent of Personnel
Barbara Ponder has been with the Barbers Hill schools for 17 years serving as classroom teacher, Assistant Principal and most recently as the Principal of Barbers Hill Intermediate School.  Under her tenure, BHIS has been named an Exemplary School for 2 years and a TABC Honor Roll School.  In 2008, Mrs. Ponder was selected by Raise Your Hand Texas to attend a Leadership Conference at Harvard University.  A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Mrs. Ponder also holds a Master’s degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake.
