Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources

Agricultural Education prepares students for successful careers and a lifetime of informed choices in the global agriculture, food, fiber and natural resources systems.

Barbers Hill FFA/Agriculture Science Department offers a variety of courses in semester clusters. Please see our courses offered at the Barbers Hill FFA webpage.

BH ISD Agri-Dept is operated by a three teacher department, Mary Wilson, Ralph Wilson and Brandon Otto. Please see their webpages as well.

How can you get involved as a parent and a student?

FFA is an intra-curricular part of a 3 part model used in Agriculture Science Programs. Sign up for an Agriculture Science Class at BH ISD. Some choices are: Dual credit horticulture, Ag Mechanics, Ag Power (tractor mechanics), Meats Lab Processing, Wildlife Management, Animal Science and much more. Click around our website and if you have any questions just email me. We would love to visit with you about all the great opportunities we have to offer at BH ISD/FFA.
