Since becoming the first school district in the state to implement a full Google solution, including Nexus tablets, Chromebooks, and Google Apps for Education, BHISD has seen students and teachers enthusiastically embrace the technology. Our campus and administrative offices are now in the process of streamlining their office processes to reduce printing but more importantly to take advantage of the “always up to date” option offered in Google Docs.

As the Google solution has proven itself effective at BHISD, coverage has expanded rapidly. What initially began as a high school program now reaches nearly every classroom across grade levels.

Implementing GAFE has been a solution that has proven to be cost-effective and progressive, which is not a typical combination in the world of technology. Our focus continues to be one thing and that is student success!!
