Non-discrimination in Career and Technology Programs

Barbers Hill ISD offers the following Career and Technology Education programs:
Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security,
Marketing, Architecture and Construction, Human Services, Business Management,
Finance/Accounting, and Arts, Audio/Visual Technology, and Communication.
Admission to these programs is based on grade level, course and program sequences,
counselor recommendation, class space available, and parent/student interest.


It is the policy of Barbers Hill I.S.D. not to discriminate on the basis of race, color,
national origin, sex or handicap in its vocational programs, services or activities as
required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the
Education Amendments of 1972; and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as
amended.
