The Barbers Hill App
Barbers Hill ISD has launched its new mobile app, designed to keep students, parents, staff, and community members connected with everything happening across the district. Because mobile devices have become the primary way many families receive information, the district has introduced a custom-built app that provides quick and convenient access to important school resources. This new app, powered by Apptegy, replaces Parent Square.
The Barbers Hill ISD app is available as a free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store linked below.
Through the app, families and community members can:

- View school and district calendars
- Access staff directories and contact information
- Find important documents and resources
- View lunch menus and other district information
- Stay informed about upcoming events
Introducing Rooms
Rooms brings school communication together in one secure, easy-to-use location, making it simpler than ever for families and staff to stay connected.
Why Rooms?
- One place for every message. No more switching between multiple apps or logins.
- Automatic text notifications. Families receive notifications when new messages are available, even if they have not downloaded the app or logged in.
- Safe and secure communication. Built-in moderation and security tools help ensure all communications remain appropriate and compliant.
- Available before Eagle Launch. Rooms will be fully operational and ready for parent and guardian messaging prior to Eagle Launch.
Staff Information
Staff members will use the Apptegy for Staff app to access their employee accounts using their Barbers Hill ISD staff email address.
Staff members who are also parents or guardians should use the Barbers Hill ISD app to access their parent account by signing in with their personal email address or phone number associated with their Skyward Family Access account.
