Technical Support

Our Technical Support team is dedicated to the smooth and efficient operation of technology across the district. Providing on-site support, they ensure that all devices and systems function properly. The team works behind the scenes to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and maintain devices. From setting up classroom technology to assisting staff with technical needs, the Campus Support Technicians ensure that all equipment is operational and ready for use, allowing educators and students to rely on technology without disruption.

Standard Classroom Equipment

The BHISD Technology Department is upgrading teacher workstations by transitioning from desktops to docking stations. This change will provide teachers with dual-monitor capability, along with an external keyboard and mouse, enhancing productivity and flexibility in the classroom. These upgrades aim to create a more efficient workspace, supporting both teaching and administrative tasks.

Our classrooms are equipped with essential technology to enhance teaching and learning. Standard equipment includes teacher laptops and document cameras for seamless lesson delivery. In grades PK-8, classrooms feature interactive ClearTouch panels, fostering engagement and collaboration. For grades 9-12, mounted projectors provide high-quality visuals to support instructional activities. This technology ensures students and teachers have the tools they need for an enriched educational experience.

Student Devices

The BHISD Technology Department is dedicated to enhancing the educational experience and preparing students for digital and future readiness. We provide essential devices, including iPads for interactive learning and creativity, along with one-to-one class sets of Chromebooks that ensure reliable access to technology throughout the school day. Additionally, take-home Chromebooks support learning beyond the classroom, allowing students to develop essential digital skills. These devices are integral to fostering a dynamic educational environment that equips students for success in an increasingly digital world.
